Former fox news host, Tucker Carlson was spotted in Moscow about 2 days ago by locals, with speculations that he was going to interview Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin. The rumours were not far off, considering the fact that he had indicated interest in the past, only to be discouraged from doing so after discovering the authorities were spying on him.
The liberal media went into a ginormous meltdown, echoing the same rhetoric and buzzwords about how he’s a traitor, a Putin supporter, as well as a threat to democracy.
A few hours ago, Tucker Carlson himself came on air to confirm the rumours that he was indeed about to interview Putin. Of course we can expect more shrieks and hisses from the liberal media, but why on earth has it come to this?
It’s supposed to be the job of a journalist to give both sides of a story, to give a voice to each and every one of the warring parties, not because of any other reason than to allow the people to make their own informed decisions and form their opinions.
What have we been seeing so far? One side is given all the airtime while the other is either censored or given a bad name in order to hang it. This isn’t journalism, far from it, it’s propaganda, and we’ve been enduring it long enough.
I’m not asking you to support Putin or Zelensky, I don’t give a shit who you support. However, the whole idea of the media pushing against this is extremely dangerous, stupid, and degrading, can’t you see? They think you’re too stupid to form your opinions from a plethora of facts. The fact that they feel the need to mentally spoon-feed you is disgusting to say the least.
It’s a journalist’s job to hear from all sides and give the people everything, it’s happened in the past with interviews conducted with literal terrorists, democracy didn’t collapse then, and it won’t collapse now. Funny how the people blowing a fuse over protecting democracy are supporting the idea of restraining a journalist from returning to his country for simply doing his job

Probably the only time I’d ever agree with Brian Krassenstein. Information truly is power.
If you decide to watch the interview and still conclude that Putin is full of shit, more power to you, it shows you were able to view the issue from both sides in order to form an opinion. It shows you’re a normal human being with the capability of independent thoughts. Whether or not your opinion is valid is another ballgame entirely.
But if you completely dismiss the interview because according to legacy media, the other side of the war that has shifted the world order as we know it, potentially ending the dollar hegemony doesn’t even deserve a minute of your screen time, then you truly are incapable of forming an independent thought.
My stance on the war is of no importance. What I find most important is hearing from both sides of the equation. This would either increase my support for one side or reduce for the other. This interview will break the internet. I will be anxiously waiting to watch it, and so should you.
